Approximately 80 percent of women have some sort of cellulite, a result of concentrated fat cells that have a rippling effect on the skin causing a "dimpling" look.  It is typically pronounced around thighs, hips and buttocks of women.

How does it work and how is it different from endermologie?

On the other hand endermologie is a deep mechanical massage which tends to suction the skin with unacceptable side effects, bruising, broken vessels and pain with only temporary results.

Does it replace Liposuction?
The answer is no. The problem with liposuction is that it will remove the fat deep beneath your skin but cannot get close enough to the surface to take care of the cellulite which is actually very superficial.
In fact liposuction can make the cellulite worse.

What is the post treatment care?
There is NO DOWN TIME with this device and normal activities can be resumed immediately.  Some experience temporary redness which fades away.  Bruising sometimes can be seen in patients who are on blood thinners.

How many treatments are necessary?
The treatment regimen is typically once weekly for 6 to 8 weeks lasting 30 to 40 minutes.  But every patient is unique and response time may vary.

How much improvement can I expect?
All patients in the FDA studies demonstrated improvement in cellulite appearance as well as reduction in hip circumference.  Average improvement for all patients was 65 percent.  Hip parameters were reduced 3.2 cm on average and all patients reported a feeling of skin contraction with a nicer and more smoother look and contour.
